You can use Quick Connect to access your device and, consequently, also your installation without a user login.

If you want to disable this access, log into the website and remove this access from your device’s settings.


Quick Connect no longer available from 2029

From the beginning of 2029, we will no longer provide the Quick Connect function (available with SMART CONNECT KNX Remote Access devices up to and including firmware version 6).

With the SMART CONNECT KNX Remote Access, you have purchased a product that provides secure remote access to your installation. Access based solely on the Registration ID is no longer sufficient to meet today's demands for digital security.

For this reason, from early 2029, it will no longer be possible to connect to your installation using Quick Connect – neither via the links in your my.ise.de account nor from the Remote Access Windows Client.

As a secure alternative for remote access to the devices in your network, you have two options:

  1. 1. Use the VPN connection offered by SMART CONNECT KNX Remote Access. You can configure this in your my.ise account.
  2. 2. Define permanently valid, individual links with integrated access data to devices in your network.
    You can define these under "Links" in your my.ise account. These links are protected by an authentication key and therefore do not require any additional password for access.

In order to ensure a seamless transition, we recommend that you stop using the Quick Connect function now and replace any existing Quick Connect connections in your installation with one of the alternatives mentioned above.

If you did not set up your installation and/or cannot make changes yourself, please ask your specialist electrician to make any required adjustments in good time.
